Billing and overage

Shara charges a monthly fee per plan and, if you consume above your STU bundle, an overage at a flat rate. No per-user fees, no per-integration fees, no fees per activated agent. This page explains how all of that is laid out over time and where to check it.

Your STU quota is tied to your payment cycle, not to the calendar month. If you signed up on the 4th, your period runs from the 4th to the 4th, and the quota renews there. That avoids the awkward case of exhausting the bundle on the 28th and having to wait for a calendar cut-off that has nothing to do with your contract.

With six-month or annual payment the billing period is six or twelve months, but the STU quota remains monthly: it is split into sub-cycles within the period. You don’t receive the whole period’s bundle at once on day one.

Six-month and annual payments carry a commitment for that period. You have fourteen days from signing up to change your mind, with a full refund of what you paid, even if you have already consumed STU. After those fourteen days, cancelling prevents renewal but does not end the current period: you keep using Shara until its end and the remaining monthly payments are not refunded. If you prefer not to commit, the monthly cycle has no minimum term. And if the breach is ours, we refund the remaining months in full.

Plan Monthly STU/month included
First €129 50M
Pro €349 140M
Max €690 280M
Max ×5 €2,900 1,150M
Max ×20 €9,900 4,000M
Concerto Local Contact sales 60M in the cloud (hybrid component, optional)

All prices are final, VAT included: if you sign up for First at €129, you pay €129, not €129 plus taxes. On the invoice you will see that same total broken down into taxable base and VAT. If your company is in another European Union country and you give us a valid VAT number, the invoice is issued without Spanish VAT under the reverse charge, and outside the EU no Spanish VAT is charged; in both cases the amount you pay remains the published one. The detail is in section 7 of the Terms.

Six-month payment is paid with one month free (16% less) and annual with three: nine months out of twelve, 25% less than the monthly price. Both carry a commitment for the chosen period. Concerto Local has no list price: it is hired for at least six months and its price is agreed with sales.

From Max you can extend the team with agents from the additional catalog (Curie, Kerckhoffs, Nightingale, Brunel and Barnum). Each one costs €99/month and adds 15M STU to your monthly bundle, which stack on top of the base quota: a Max with two additional agents has 310M STU a month.

They are not available on First or Pro, and it is not a commercial matter: checkout rejects them. Until an additional agent is hired, it is not available to your company. You add them from the app, in Settings → Plan and billing → Add agents: the prorated part of the current period is charged right away and the agent appears as soon as the payment is confirmed (by card, in seconds; by direct debit, once the bank confirms it). In Concerto Local all twenty are included, at no separate charge.

If you exhaust the quota, the conversation doesn’t get cut off. Consumption above it goes into overage and is billed at €5 per million STU, the same rate on all paid plans. There are no steps or tiers.

Overage is not charged at the moment: it accumulates during the period and is added to your next invoice as a separate line, so you can see it apart from the plan fee.

Before you get there, Shara warns you. By default it does so at 80%, 90% and 100% of the quota, and you can change those points (the options are 60%, 80%, 90%, 100% and 150%). The warnings go to the administrator and stay in the dashboard, next to the breakdown of consumption by agent and by day. And if you had quota left over the previous month, the rollover is spent first and only then does overage kick in.

Concerto Local has no overage: its cloud bundle is fixed and, if it runs out, it is resolved with support.

In the dashboard, under Billing, you have the invoice history and the registered payment method. From there the billing portal opens, where you change the card, download invoices and manage the subscription. The portal link expires after a few minutes: if you leave it open and come back later, open it again from the dashboard.

The portal and plan sign-up can only be opened by the owner and administrators. Any member can see their consumption in STU, but not the financial figures.

Both are done from the billing portal, reached from Billing in the dashboard. There you change plan, update the payment method and cancel.

Cancellation does not lock you out at that moment: it keeps access until the end of the period you have already paid for and does not renew after that.

Cancelling does not delete your data. While your contract lasts, you can take a copy of everything: the owner or an admin exports the whole company as a .zip (one NDJSON file per table, plus a manifest.json) from Settings, at most once every 24 hours; a CSV is prepared on request. Each person can also ask for their own data (/me/data-export) or for its deletion (/me/delete-request). Your data is deleted when the contract ends; billing is kept for 6 years (art. 30 of the Commercial Code), and conversations and runs are deleted earlier, according to the period the owner chooses in Settings (90 days by default). All the steps are in No vendor lock-in.

The practical recommendation remains to start with the lowest plan that fits and adjust by looking at real consumption over the first few weeks, instead of sizing by estimate.

It is worth not confusing them. The quota and overage are money; the spending caps are a defense against a loop or a badly configured integration. They are set in STU, not in euros, and by default they cut at 1M STU in a single run, 10M in the last hour and 80M in the last 24 hours. The owner or an admin can edit them or turn them off.

When one trips, activity stops and the administrator gets a notice. A halted run is not charged extra. The detail is in STU and quotas.

  • Is there a per-user charge? No. The price is per company and per plan.
  • Is there a per-integration charge? No. Connectors are included in all plans from First, except HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce, which are exclusive to Pro and above.
  • Does an agent I don’t use cost me anything? No. You only consume STU when it works.
  • Does the STU change depending on my plan? No. The same work costs the same STU on First as on Max.
  • Can I downgrade? Yes, from the billing portal, just like upgrading.
